The Phone Call With Charlie Kirk
It all started in late 2023 when Cliff received a call from Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action founder Charlie Kirk. “Cliff, we have a problem in Pennsylvania, and I need you to fix this,” Charlie said to start things off. You see, Pennsylvania had fifty days of mail-in voting. This led to Democrats creating a strategy of CHASING ballots for 50 days, while Republicans previously had no plan. The result? Democrats had been winning 80% of mail-in voting on average since 2020.
A Solution Is Born: THE PA CHASE
The Pennsylvania Chase was launched by door-knocking guru Cliff Maloney. The project became a dedicated initiative aimed at matching the Democrats’ tactics for mail-in ballot success and securing a significant victory for liberty-loving Republicans in the 2024 election.
What We Did: 500,000 Doors Across PA
The PA Chase maintained a laser-like focus on driving up the number of GOP mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania. This effort was spearheaded by Citizens Alliance, with the primary task of knocking on 500,000 doors in key target districts between September 1 and November 5.
Who Made It Happen: 124 Paid GOP Ballot Chasers
Citizens Alliance successfully hired 124 full-time paid GOP ballot chasers. This was not a volunteer operation (although we gladly accepted help from volunteers). It was a tactical mission, comparable to what Democrats had been doing every year since 2020. By implementing this strategy effectively, the 124 ballot chasers significantly improved GOP results, helping to secure a landmark victory for Republicans in Pennsylvania.

We proved in 2024 that when we increased the Republican share of the mail-in ballots from 20% to 33% statewide, we helped deliver Donald J. Trump the one state he needed to ensure a sweeping victory.
